Individual Glass Blowing Hands-on Tutorial
Learn the techniques of blowing glass off-hand with an experienced glass instructor.
A basic set of tools and materials will be provided along with a limited pallet of color options. No experience is necessary, however students with previous experience may request a certain agenda for a session.
2 Hour • Basic Training - $ 150
This session is designed to give the participant a taste of what is involved in glass blowing and a fundamental understanding of the process.
Students will attempt a minimum of two pieces.
4 Hour • Intensive - $ 280
This session allows for a deeper investigation into form and color options. First half will allow student to become comfortable with the material by making several objects. At this point we will look at some options for creating more elaborate forms and utilize some techniques. Students will attempt a minimum of four pieces.
6 Hour • Full day $ 390
This amount of time allows for a chance to create at least six glass pieces as well as challenge your stamina. This session really allows the participant to experience fully a day of blowing and sculpting glass while learning in great detail the choreography of the glass blowing dance.
Sessions normally need to be arranged at least 30 days in advance although we sometimes can accommodate shorter notice bookings.
